Seeking BC/BE Infectious Disease Physician to join established team in Des Moines, Iowa
Position Highlights:
Join team of 7 Infectious Disease physicians and 2 APPs
Practice based in medical office connected to primary hospital
Mix of inpatient and outpatient infectious disease care
Coverage across 3 hospitals within close proximity
Large referral base from integrated primary care network
Broad case mix including immunocompromised and transplant patients
Participation in antimicrobial stewardship and e-consult programs
Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students
System-wide Epic EMR
Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient and outpatient infectious disease consultations
Manage complex infectious disease cases
Participate in antimicrobial stewardship initiatives
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
Engage in teaching and academic activities
Qualifications:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Infectious Disease
Active Iowa license or ability to obtain
