Position at a Glance:

• Status: Full-time position
• Schedule / Call: Provide 4.5 days inpatient consultative services weekly with .5 day outpatient care with call schedule of 1:3

We are a leading healthcare provider in Northwestern Pennsylvania, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Infectious Disease physician to join our well-established, hospital-based consultative practice.

Position Highlights:

• Established Team Model: Join a dedicated Infectious Disease service comprised of two full-time Infectious Disease physicians and one Advanced Practice Provider, offering a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.
• System-Wide Impact: Provide telemedicine Infectious Disease consults across hospitals, expanding your clinical reach while maintaining balance.
• Advanced Technology: Work within a fully integrated Epic electronic medical record, ensuring seamless documentation, communication, and continuity of care.
• Patient Safety Focus: Utilize a hospital-wide electronic nosocomial infection surveillance system to proactively enhance patient safety and outcomes.
• Integrated Care Model: Play a key role in an established Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, partnering closely with the Infectious Disease team and hospital leadership to promote best practices.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school
• Accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program completion
• Accredited Infectious Disease Fellowship Program completion
  • Open to recent fellowship-trained physicians
• American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
• DEA certification
