This full-time Infectious Disease Physician opportunity offers the ability to practice comprehensive infectious disease management within a population health model of care.

Work across outpatient clinics, nursing homes, and telehealth platforms while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team focused on improving outcomes and preventing disease spread throughout diverse communities. This role is ideal for physicians passionate about public health, epidemiology, and complex infection management.

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic infectious diseases
• Review and interpret diagnostic studies, labs, imaging, and cultures
• Manage drug-resistant and complex infection cases
• Develop evidence-based, patient-centered treatment plans
• Consult with primary care and specialty providers on complex cases
• Conduct physical examinations and order appropriate testing
• Administer immunizations and educate patients on prevention strategies
• Monitor outbreaks and collaborate with community partners
• Analyze infection trends and treatment effectiveness
• Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives

Qualifications

• Active New York State Medical License
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Infectious Disease
• Strong knowledge of disease transmission, containment, and treatment protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
• Commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations

Working Hours

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Schedule with Minimal Call
