Description

The Division of Infectious Diseases and HIV Medicine at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center (UHCMC) seeks board-certified or board-eligible infectious diseases-trained physicians in both general infectious diseases clinical practice as well as those with a special interest in the immunocompromised host population.

Primary clinical responsibilities will include inpatient and ambulatory care of stem cell and solid organ transplant patients as well as cancer patients. The faculty positions will lead protocol-driven approaches to evaluation, management, and prevention of infectious complications in these high-risk patient populations.

Ideal candidates will have interest in clinical program development and fellowship expansion. Opportunities exist for collaborative research. Responsibilities will include involvement in antimicrobial stewardship and infection control as well as attending on the general infectious diseases consultation service. Candidates should have excellent clinical and teaching skills.

Academic rank will depend upon level of experience and academic track record.

Salary offers are competitive based on experience of ideal candidate.

Qualifications:

  • Board certified or board eligible Physician
  • Active Ohio Medical License in good standing upon effective date of employment
  • Excellent clinical and teaching skills
  • Must be able to enrich the inter-collaborative culture of the Division
  • New and experienced geriatric trained physicians are welcome to apply
