Dates Needed: Monday, August 18 – Sunday, August 24, 2025
Shift: 8 hours/day (flexible start time; typical 8–4 or 9–5)
Setting: Acute Care Academic Hospital (300 beds including Behavioral Health and Maternity; ~125 true Med/Surg beds)
EMR: Meditech (legacy version)
Opportunity Highlights:

Academic environment with resident presence – GME/teaching experience preferred

Provide inpatient consultative services; all adult patients

Consults may come from inpatient units or ED
-
Approx. 20 new consults per week per provider, with a census of ~20 patients
-
Collaborate with employed physicians and private attendings
-
Supervise and support night shift coverage
-
Emergency credentialing available in ~1 day
Requirements:
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
-
Active NY license
-
Comfortable working in an academic teaching environment

Must be available to cover full week if possible
