Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with various infectious diseases
- Develop treatment plans and provide ongoing care for patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay current on the latest developments in infectious disease treatment and research
- Educate patients on preventive measures to avoid infections
Qualifications
- Medical office experience
- Basic life support certification
- Patient care skills
- Knowledge of infectious disease care
- Proficiency in patient assessment
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Experience with EMR systems
- Ability to perform physical examinations
- Familiarity with ICD coding
- Strong HIPAA compliance knowledge
Working Hours
Skills
- Experience in ICD-9 coding and documentation
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles
- Familiarity with psychopharmacology
- Proficiency in CT scans and medical imaging interpretation
- Background in hospital medicine practices
