Hospital is expanding to a staff of fourteen hospitalists, board certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine, staffing our two hospital health system. The hospitalist service carries an average daily inpatient census of approximately one hundred thirty patients located at the main campus, which is a Level II Trauma Center as well as a Comprehensive Stroke and Cardiac Center. Six hospitalists work concurrently during each day shift as well as one evening hospitalist in-house to provide a streamlined pathway for new admissions in the evening hours. Hospitalists are scheduled seven days on followed by seven days off to achieve the best possible work/life balance. All hospitalists take an equal share of evening shifts annually. $209,000 to $220,000 salary. Further details are available during the scheduled interview process.
