If you are wanting a practice that pays better than most and guarantee's 34 weeks per year then this could be a good fit. The other unique part of this practice is that that you get all of the benefits of being hospital employed and 1099 combined.
HOSPITALIST
PRACTICE
*Hospital Employed position and Independent Contractor structure combined
*One hospitalist job working 7 on 7 off (Days), second practice is rounding at LTAC 8 weeks per year (Days)
*7 on 7 off at 220 Bed Hospital, 12 hour shifts
*Work an additional week every sixth week at busy LTAC and earn additional $250K/yr ($4,400 per day).
*The two jobs combined equal $2,400 per day
*Have nocturnists - Day work only
*Group of 6 Hospitalists that rotate at LTAC
*When at hospital avg 15-20 patients per day
*When at modern LTAC do 1-3 admissions per day
*Must be comfortable with procedures, but rarely will need them at LTAC
*Compensation of $320K+ at hospital plus $250K+ at LTAC
*Specialty support
*Full benefits including malpractice, health, etc.
*Sign-on and relocation (up to $35K)
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT
*BE/BC in Internal Medicine
*Does not qualify for H/J sponsorships
