Job description
An established hospital medicine program ~90 minutes north of Lansing, Michigan is seeking a BC/BE Hospitalist to join its collaborative team.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time Hospital Medicine opportunity
- 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
- Rotating shifts, including days, afternoons, and nights
- Average rounding census of 16–18 patients
- Average daily admissions of 15–20 patients
- Closed ICU model
- Provide comprehensive inpatient medical management, including admissions, patient evaluations, and consultations
- Participate in rapid response events
- Manage general inpatient admissions and ongoing patient care
- Excellent support and collegial relationships with subspecialty services
- Opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of an established hospital medicine program
