Physician - Hospitalist

Job Details:

Nocturnist position with shift times from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
7 on/7 off schedule preferred, but flexibility on scheduling to fill needed dates
Open positions starting December 2026 through August-September 2027
Handle 8-10 admissions per shift with no crosscover or responding to rapids/codes during primary shift hours
Respond to rapids and urgent crosscover needs within a 2-hour window from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM after the secondary nocturnist shift ends
Additional nocturnist coverage from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM handles 4-6 admissions and crosscover support
APP nocturnist available to handle crosscover and may be delegated 1-2 simple admissions/consults on exceptionally busy nights
Virtually all specialists available in-house with exceptions including Rheumatology, Endocrine, and Dermatology (tele-derm available)
ICU is closed; no ICU rounding required
No procedures or vent management required
No call involvement
Approximately 520-bed facility with full support staff available
Trauma center on-site with trauma surgery as primary on all trauma cases
Board certification or eligibility required
Minimum 2+ years of experience preferred
Colorado licensure required at time of presentation; IMLC is not accepted
