- Coverage Need:
- Nov 24-29 NIGHTS
- Dec 22 to Jan 7 DAYS/SWINGS/NIGHTS
- Blocks of 5 to 7 days preferred
- Must be able to cover some of these listed dates, with future dates beyond TBD
- Shift types/Schedule
- Day rounders (one Day admitter), Swing, and Nights
- Exact hours TBD, likely 7-7 or 8-8 model
- Day rounders (one Day admitter), Swing, and Nights
- Clinical Information:
- # of beds: 436
- Not a trauma center
- Day rounder target is 1.6 encounters per hour.
- Swing and night admitter target 0.9 per hour, night triage 0.8, night cross cover 0.6
- No procedures
- Closed ICU
- Must respond to codes, but there is a code team
- Never solo. Minimum three physicians in house overnight.
- Required:
- Active CA License and active/dedicated CA DEA
- Must be Board Certified in IM/FM
- Clean background and zero malpractice
- Active ACLS/BLS and covid plus Current Flu vaccine
