StaffMed is seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to lead patient care at an outpatient neuropathy clinic in the Houston/Clear Lake area.
This unique opportunity is ideal for a Family Medicine or Primary Care Physician interested in transitioning into a specialized outpatient setting focused on evaluating and treating patients with peripheral neuropathy.
No prior neuropathy experience is required. Comprehensive clinical training, established treatment protocols, and ongoing support are provided by experienced practice leadership. This is not just a general pain management clinic.

Practice Highlights
- Outpatient-only practice focused on peripheral neuropathy evaluation and treatment
- Serve as the lead physician overseeing day-to-day clinical care
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, physical examinations, and neuropathy assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans using established clinical protocols and technology
- Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and expectations
- Collaborate with dedicated clinical support staff
- Receive comprehensive onboarding, equipment training, and ongoing clinical education
- Half-day Fridays offering improved work-life balance
Compensation & Benefits
- $250,000–$275,000 base compensation, depending on qualifications
- Potential performance-based incentives
- W2 or 1099 engagement options
- Additional compensation for float coverage and associated travel expenses
- State medical licensing fees covered
- Consistent outpatient schedule with half-day Fridays
- No Nights or Weekends
Qualifications
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Texas medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible, as applicable
- Family Medicine preferred; other primary care backgrounds may be considered
- Comfortable practicing independently with clinical support staff
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Commitment to quality care and positive patient outcomes
- Prior neuropathy experience is not required; full training provided
