Schedule & Coverage:
- Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Schedule: 7 on / 7 off preferred; flexible scheduling available.
- Coverage Period: Ongoing openings beginning December 2026.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Manage approximately 8–10 hospital admissions per night.
- Respond to rapid response events.
- Handle urgent cross-coverage needs between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
- No ICU rounding, procedures, or ventilator management required.
Clinical Setting & Support:
- Approximately 520-bed hospital and trauma center.
- Trauma surgery manages primary trauma cases.
- Closed ICU.
- Additional support from a 5 PM–5 AM nocturnist and an APP nocturnist.
- Broad in-house specialty support, with some exceptions.
- Emergency privileges may be available if needed.
Requirements:
- MD/DO; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hospital Medicine.
- Active Colorado medical license required; IMLC not accepted.
- Providers requesting temporary privileges must have an active Colorado license at presentation.
- Preferably 2+ years of experience.
