Locums | Hospitalist | Woodruff/Rhinelander, WI (WI License or IMLC) Why This Role A hospitalist is needed for an initial holiday night block, with additional ongoing day and night coverage anticipated across nearby northern Wisconsin sites. Initial Coverage

  • December 23‚Äì27, 2026
  • Night shifts: 7 p.m.‚Äì7 a.m.
  • Additional ongoing shifts are expected
Assignment Details Setting: Inpatient Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours with no call Average census: Approximately 10–12 patients per shift Department size: 25 beds Admissions required Assigned-patient rounding Trauma designation: Level III EMR: Epic Clinical Scope Adult inpatient hospital medicine ICU patient management required Noninvasive ventilation management Acute and chronic ventilation management Intubation preferred Chest-tube placement preferred Arterial-line placement preferred No pediatric, newborn or delivery responsibilities Support One APP APP supervision required No resident or teaching supervision Twenty-four-hour anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, orthopedic and radiology support Requirements Board-certified physician with hospitalist experience Active Wisconsin medical license or IMLC Active ACLS and BLS certifications Comfortable working overnight shifts ICU and ventilator-management experience required Credentialing Standard timeframe: Approximately 90 days Temporary privileges are available
