WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physicians for an ongoing Hospitalist locum tenens opportunity starting in December 2026. This position offers day and night coverage in a hospital setting with a closed ICU and a collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers.

Candidates must be available for a minimum of 7 shifts for consideration, with significant ongoing coverage needs.

Assignment Highlights

• Start Date: December 2026

• Assignment Length: Ongoing

• Coverage Need: 40+ shifts per month

• Minimum Commitment: 7 shifts

• Specialties Accepted: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Board Status: BC/BE considered

• Schedule: Days and nights required

• Rotation: 7 days on / 7 days off

• ICU Model: Closed ICU

• EMR: Epic

• Procedures: None required

• Additional Responsibilities: Must respond to codes and rapid response calls

Requirements

• MD or DO.

• BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

• Minimum commitment of 7 shifts for consideration.

• Availability for day and night coverage as needed.

• Ability to respond to codes and rapid response calls.

• Comfort working in a closed ICU hospital environment.

• No procedures required.
