Clinical Role RecruitWell is seeking a full-time Nocturnist for a permanent opportunity in Fort Worth, Texas. This position offers a consistent 7-on / 7-off night schedule in a closed ICU environment with 24/7 Intensivist coverage. Physicians focus on admissions and complex inpatient care without procedural or code-running responsibilities.

Assignment Details

• Permanent, full-time Nocturnist position

• Must be available to start by June 2027

• 7 nights on / 7 nights off

• Two Nocturnist physicians scheduled overnight

• APP provides overnight cross-coverage

• Average of approximately 7–11 admissions per physician per night

• Closed ICU model

• 24/7 Intensivist coverage

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

• Provide overnight inpatient care

• Manage new hospital admissions

• Evaluate and treat medically complex patients

• Coordinate care with Intensivists and other inpatient specialists

• Collaborate with the overnight APP handling cross-coverage

• Complete timely inpatient documentation and care transitions

Support & Technology

• Two Nocturnist physicians on overnight

• Night APP provides cross-coverage

• 24/7 Intensivist support

• Closed ICU

• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine training accepted

• Active Texas medical license required

• Must be available to start by June 2027

• 2026 graduates will be considered
