JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABIM/ABFM)
  
• Licenses: Active unrestricted MS medical license, DEA with MS address and Schedules II–V
  
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with MS address and CDS (Schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5) required
  
• Certifications: ACLS
  
• Experience: Residency trained in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine; must demonstrate provision of inpatient or outpatient services to at least 30 patients in the last 12 months or have completed a hospital-affiliated accredited residency, special clinical fellowship or research case log over past 24 months
  
• Other Qualifications: COVID vaccination preferred, FLU vaccination required; active state license and board certification in hand required for presentation
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide hospitalist coverage including admissions, rounds, and discharges on a 7-on/7-off schedule.
  
• Respond to codes and rapid response teams (RRTs) as needed.
  
• Work night shifts (7p–7a) and occasional day shifts (7a–5p or 8a–6p) as required.
  
• Collaborate with NPPAs and other support staff in a closed ICU setting.
  
• Manage patient care with no procedures required; focus on medical management and rounding.
