Job description
A hospital in Williston, North Dakota is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens coverage beginning December 24, with additional ongoing coverage anticipated.
Assignment Highlights
- Initial coverage: December 24 at 7:00 AM through January 6 at 7:00 AM
- Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM with night call from 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Setting: Inpatient hospitalist service
- Coverage: Admissions, rounding, and management of hospitalized patients
- Patient population includes medical/surgical and ICU patients
- May provide consultation support for OB patients
- Admit patients from the emergency department
- EMR: Meditech
- Support: FNP available Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Reason for coverage: Provider shortage
- Quick credentialing turnaround available with timely document submission
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified preferred; Board Eligible required
- Active North Dakota medical license required
- Active ACLS
- Active BLS
- Active DEA
- Clean malpractice history
- Must provide confirmed availability at the time of presentation
Travel
Local or drive-in candidates are highly preferred. Lodging options are available near the hospital, including accommodations located across the street from the facility.
