Aya Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist (Internal Medicine) for a Locum Tenens opportunity at Community Behavioral Health Center (Sound Physicians), a psychiatric facility in Fresno, CA. Start date 9/21/2026; priority for September availability.
- Psychiatric facility in Fresno, CA providing medical coverage for behavioral health patients
- Schedule/shifts to be finalized; neighboring facilities staff day, swing and night shifts and APPs work 7A-7P
- Physician leads codes and rapid responses; hospitalist supervises APPs
- Epic EMR; part of a 3-campus Sound Physicians program in Fresno/Clovis
Job Responsibilities
• Lead codes and rapid responses; supervise APPs (APPs work 7A-7P)
• Work 12-hour shifts (schedule/shifts to be determined; neighboring facilities have day, swing and night coverage)
• Epic EMR
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience; Epic experience required
• California license required; ACLS required
• Clean file (no malpractice or background issues) for expedited privileging
