Aya Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist (Internal Medicine) for a Locum Tenens opportunity covering day, swing and night shifts at Community Regional Medical Center (Sound Physicians) in Fresno, CA. Start date 9/21/2026; priority for September availability.
- Level 1 trauma and comprehensive burn center; acute care hospital with 685 licensed beds and a closed adult ICU
- Average day census of approximately 336 with about 53 admits per 24 hours
- Rounder, admitter, swing and nocturnist roles; hospitalists respond to in-house rapid responses and supervise APPs
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Respond to in-house rapid responses and your own patients' codes; supervise APPs
• Coordinate care with consulting specialists; 12-hour shifts
• Epic EMR
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience; Epic experience required
• California license required; ACLS required
• Clean file (no malpractice or background issues) for expedited privileging
