Aya Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist (IM/FM) for a Locum Tenens opportunity covering day, swing and night shifts at Clovis Community Medical Center (Sound Physicians) in Clovis, CA. Start date 9/21/2026; priority for September availability.
- Acute care hospital program across 3 campuses with an average daily census of approximately 280 (about 40 admits per day)
- Closed 24-bed ICU; hospitalists manage step-down and high-acuity patients and supervise APPs
- Strong specialty support and active family communication; rounder, admitter, swing and nocturnist roles
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Complete admissions within one hour, respond to rapid responses and manage step-down patients
• Supervise APPs and coordinate care with consulting specialists
• Epic EMR; 12-hour shifts
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience; Epic experience required
• California license required; ACLS required
• Clean file (no malpractice or background issues) for expedited privileging
