Job description

Job description A hospital in the Williston, North Dakota area needs an inpatient hospitalist for 24-hour service coverage, starting December 24 with additional blocks through the winter and ongoing coverage after that. Pay is $195/hr, with $562.50 for each night call and holiday pay of $292.50/hr, which covers Christmas and New Year's in the first block. Callback pays $195/hr, and the first 2.5 hours of callback on a night are unpaid and already included in the night call pay. An FNP supports the service Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Travel is covered, with a hotel across the street from the hospital. The EMR is Meditech.

Job Responsibilities

Admit patients from the ER and round on admitted patients across med/surg and ICU. Cover the hospitalist service from 7am to 7pm with night call from 7pm to 7am. Consult for OB when needed.

Qualifications

Active North Dakota medical license. DEA. ACLS and BLS. Board certified preferred, board eligible considered. Clean malpractice history.

Working Hours

7am to 7pm hospitalist shifts with night call 7pm to 7am. First block December 24 at 7am through January 6 at 7am, with more blocks in January, February, and March and ongoing coverage after.

Skills

Inpatient medicine, admissions from the ER, ICU and med/surg rounding, night call coverage. Meditech experience helpful.
