Aya Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens opportunity at Community Regional Medical Center (Sound Physicians) in Fresno, CA, supporting a September 2026 go-live. Clean files only.
- Level 1 trauma and comprehensive burn center; 685 licensed beds
- Day 7am census about 336 with 53 admits per 24 hours; 57-bed adult ICU and 30-bed neuro ICU (closed)
- Day, swing and night shifts; hospitalists supervise APPs
- Epic EMR; program covers 3 campuses
Job Responsibilities
• Day 7am census about 336 with 53 admits per 24 hours; nights cross-cover about 336 patients
• Respond to all in-house rapid responses and to own patients' codes; supervise APPs
• Closed ICU (57-bed adult ICU, 30-bed neuro ICU)
Qualifications
• Active California license
• ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years of experience; Epic experience required
• Clean file (no malpractice or unclean background history)
