Aya Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens opportunity at Clovis Community Medical Center (Sound Physicians) in Clovis, CA, supporting a September 2026 go-live. Clean files only.
- Acute care hospital with an average daily census of about 284 and 40 admits per day
- Day, swing and night shifts; closed 24-bed ICU with strong specialty support
- Hospitalists supervise APPs and manage step-down patients; strong emphasis on family communication
- Epic EMR; program covers 3 campuses
Job Responsibilities
• Day team manages about 40 admits per 24 hours; admitters complete admissions within one hour and respond to rapids
• Manage step-down and complex patients; frequent family meetings; supervise APPs
• Closed ICU (24 beds) accepts intubated patients
Qualifications
• Active California license
• ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years of experience; Epic experience required
• Clean file (no malpractice or unclean background history)
