Hospitalist Physician Opportunity - Eau Claire, WI
Full-Time | Permanent | Hospital Medicine
*Position Details*
* Join an established Hospital Medicine department in Eau Claire, Wisconsin
* Comprehensive inpatient care from admission through discharge
* Full-time schedule of approximately 23 weeks per year
* Seven consecutive 12-hour shifts followed by seven days off
* Daytime hospitalist coverage from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
* Medical Officer of the Day coverage from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
* Two staggered nocturnist shifts from 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
* Nocturnist-only position may be available with a 10% reduction in annual shift requirements
* Primary responsibility at a hospital with a Level II Trauma Center
* Hospitalists perform H&Ps for most Behavioral Health admissions with follow-up as needed
* Full subspecialty backup
* Physician-led and financially stable practice environment
* Common EMR and PACS across the regional healthcare network
*Candidate Qualifications*
* MD, DO or foreign medical degree equivalent
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
* Physicians in the final year of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine training program may be considered
* Eligible for a Wisconsin medical license
