7 On / 7 Off | 15–18 Patients Per Day | February 2027 Start**

A 192-bed nonprofit hospital in New York’s Upper Hudson Valley is seeking two Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physicians to join its established Hospitalist team. This is a full-time inpatient opportunity featuring a desirable week-on/week-off schedule, strong specialty support, and access to advanced diagnostic services. The hospital maintains an affiliation with a major academic medical center for patients requiring a higher level of care.
Position Highlights
* Full-time, permanent Hospitalist opportunity
* Two Hospitalist openings available
* 100% inpatient practice
* 7 days on / 7 days off
* Average of 15–18 patients per day
* Join an established team of 9 Hospitalists
* Average Medical-Surgical census of approximately 70 patients per day
* Admissions generated from an established network of 16 primary and specialty care centers
* State-of-the-art laboratory and medical imaging services
* Full spectrum of specialty consultants available
* Dedicated Clinical Documentation Improvement team
* Dedicated Case Management support to assist with patient flow and transitions of care
* Affiliation with a major academic medical center for complex cases requiring higher-level care
* Position currently covered by a locum physician
* Anticipated start date: February 2027

Qualifications
* MD or DO
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
* Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency
* Current or eligible New York medical licensure
* Strong inpatient clinical skills
* Ability to effectively manage a diverse Hospital Medicine patient population
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Experienced Hospitalists and graduating residents are encouraged to apply
