REQUIRED PROCEDURES

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABMS)
- Licenses: Active NY license
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA with NY address, schedules 2-5
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS; Infection Control Certificate
- Experience: Residency trained in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; new grads accepted, 1-2 years preferred
- Other Qualifications: Case logs and CME documentation from previous two years; immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, PPD, flu shot) required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide day coverage as Hospitalist, managing inpatients and open ICU patients
- Respond to codes and rapid response teams
- Collaborate with NP/PA and support staff
- Manage ventilator patients
- Provide ICU management with pulmonary support
