- Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a 30-bed pediatric emergency department.
- Collaborate with Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians, hospitalists, and subspecialty teams.
- Coordinate patient care transitions with Pediatric ICU, CVICU, and NICU teams.
- Partner with child life specialists and pediatric social workers as part of the emergency care team.
- Teach and mentor pediatric, emergency medicine, and family practice residents.
- Support the education and development of Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellows.
- Use full scribe coverage to support efficient documentation and patient care.
Required
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility.
- Recent inpatient experience.
- Ability to work twelve 12-hour shifts per month.
- Local residency or relocation to the immediate area is required.
