Hospitalist Staffing Model

Our staffing model is designed to provide physicians with meaningful clinical support throughout the day.

• Block scheduling – 7-on/7-off

• Two physician rounders scheduled 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

• One physician in-house overnight from 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

• 3.5 NP/PAs scheduled daily from 6:45 a.m.–4:45 p.m.

• Mid-shift NP/PA coverage from 12:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.

• Mid-shift APP assists with admissions and ICU procedures, including intubations and central lines

• Training available for the right candidate
