Hospitalist Physician – 7-Day Block Schedule | Any State License | Arizona

Arc Health is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician for a hospitalist opportunity serving a rural Tribal community in Arizona.

With a small inpatient census, physicians may assist in other clinical areas based on daily volume and facility needs. The inpatient unit has capacity for four patients and averages approximately two patients per day. Urgent Care volume averages approximately 15–20 patients per day, while Same Day Clinic is generally scheduled in half-day blocks with approximately 8–10 appointments.

  • 4-bed Med/Surg unit
  • No ICU
  • Hybrid inpatient, Urgent Care and Same Day Clinic coverage
  • RPMS electronic health record
  • Adult/geriatric and urgent pediatric care
  • Major trauma and higher-acuity patients are stabilized and transferred as appropriate

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Recent inpatient and outpatient medical experience
  • Active, unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory
  • Active, unrestricted DEA
  • Current BLS and ACLS
  • PALS optional
  • No lapse in clinical practice greater than six months leading up to the assignment
  • Interest in rural, Tribal and underserved healthcare

Assignment Benefits

  • Malpractice coverage, including tail insurance
  • Competitive compensation
  • Flexible shift options
