Description
Noor Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist / Neuro Hospitalist for a 13-week inpatient coverage opportunity in Springfield, Oregon. This is an unrestricted 24-hour call position supporting adult and geriatric patients across a busy acute-care hospital environment.
The physician will provide neurology consultations, stroke consultations, NeuroInterventional consultations, and related inpatient neurological care. The position offers a call-focused schedule with hospitalist and specialty support.
Coverage begins December 7, 2026.
Job Responsibilities
Respond to inpatient neurology consultations as needed
Provide stroke consultations
Provide NeuroInterventional consultations
Perform NeuroInterventional procedures within appropriate privileges and scope
Round and follow up the following morning when clinically necessary
Collaborate with hospitalists and other specialty disciplines
Care for adult and geriatric patients
Provide inpatient neurological evaluation and management
Document patient care in Epic
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience
Active Oregon physician license required
Epic experience required
Hospital-based/inpatient experience
Must be able to provide documentation of surgical/procedural services representative of the requested privileges from the previous 24 months; physicians completing training within the previous year may provide a training log
Must meet facility credentialing and privileging requirements
COVID-19 vaccination required; no exemptions
Working Hours
7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Strictly call-based; physician reports to the hospital when called in
Follow-up rounding the following morning as clinically necessary
13-week assignment beginning December 7, 2026
Approximately 4 hours of gratis call included per 24-hour shift
