She Recruits is partnering with a highly respected healthcare organization to identify a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician for a part-time Hospitalist opportunity in Killeen, Texas.

This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality inpatient care within an established post-acute rehabilitation hospital while maintaining an outstanding work-life balance. Position Highlights

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and admit patients to the inpatient rehabilitation service.
• Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations.
• Manage medically complex rehabilitation patients throughout their stay.
• Provide follow-up care and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers, nursing staff, therapists, and case management to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions to optimize patient outcomes.
• Complete timely and accurate medical documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining high clinical standards.

Qualifications

Required

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
  • Internal Medicine
  • Family Medicine
• Active Texas Medical License or ability to obtain
• Active DEA registration
• Texas Controlled Substance Registration (or ability to obtain)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

Preferred

• Previous Hospital Medicine or Post-Acute Care experience
• Experience managing medically complex adult patients
• Strong interdisciplinary team collaboration skills
