Assignment Details
Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Provider Type: Physician (MD/DO)

Coverage Type: Scheduled Day Coverage + Call
Start Date: December 7, 2026
Expected Duration: Approximately 3 Months, Ongoing
Coverage Need: Full-Time or Consistent Part-Time

Compensation:
$190/hr
Schedule
Day Shift: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
Approximately 2 Call Days Every 7 Days
On Non-Call Days, Onsite Coverage Required Until 5:00 PM
Provider Will Cross-Cover Own Patients Remotely From 5:00 PM-7:00 PM on Non-Call Days
On Call Days, Provider Must Remain Onsite Until 7:00 PM
Call Responsibilities
Triage Call: Transfer Center Phone Calls From 4:00 PM-7:00 PM
Admitting Support Call: Assist Admitting APP and Sign Off on Admissions
Provider Generally Does Not Receive Admissions Throughout the Day
May Occasionally Take an Admission From Approximately 4:00 PM-5:30 PM

Approximately 17 Patients Per Day
Patient Population: Ages 16 Through Geriatrics
No Pediatric Patients
No Obstetrics
Medically Complex Patient Population
Patients Are Rarely Transferred Out
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide Inpatient Hospitalist Care
Perform Daily Patient Rounding
Manage Medically Complex Hospitalized Patients
Cross-Cover Assigned Patients
Provide Transfer Center Triage Support During Assigned Call
Support Admitting APP With Admissions and Sign-Off
May Occasionally Perform Late-Afternoon Admissions
No Special Procedures Required
Provider Is Not Required to Run Codes

Board Certified - Required
Active Missouri Medical License - Required or IMLC Candidate May Be Considered

New Graduates May Be Considered if Able to Work Independently and Transition Quickly
Must Be Comfortable Managing Medically Complex Patients
