Experienced Hospitalist | Procedures Required | Rural Wyoming

Our Health Care facility is actively recruiting an experienced Hospitalist to join our established open ICU group along with office support, a welcoming community, and a flexible scheduling for work/life balance. Combined, our two facilities offer a total of 133 beds, providing comprehensive medical services to the communities for a population of over 40,000 in Fremont County, Wyoming, including 24/7 Hospitalist and emergency care, surgery, women’s health, and advanced diagnostics, committed to quality, safety, and community wellness.

About the position:

• 10 shifts/month (24-hour shifts) — 10 site, 14 unrestricted call

• Procedures include: central lines, intubations, thoras, paras, arterial lines; possible chest tubes

• Shift requirements can be averaged over the entire year to allow for flexibility

• Opportunity to pick up extra shifts at the same shift flat rate

• Practitioners: access to 3 PCPs, 1 GS, 1 OB, 1 PT ENT, 1 PT IM, 1 PT GS

Qualifications:

• BE/BC in Internal Medicine

• Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WY and DEA with full prescriptive authority

• Must be willing and able to reside in the communities to allow for flexibility in scheduling

• Ability to manage chest tubes strongly preferred

• experience strongly preferred

• Flat shift rate ($2200)
