Location: Inland Valley Medical Center & Rancho Springs Medical Center — Southwest Riverside County, California

Position Type: Part-Time / Per Diem | Onsite | Nights Only

Position Overview

We are seeking Internal Medicine Hospitalists to join our inpatient teams at Inland Valley Medical Center and Rancho Springs Medical Center.


We are currently hiring for:

  • Part-Time / Per Diem Night Hospitalists — approximately 7–10 shifts per month, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

This is a night-only position offering flexible scheduling, no procedural requirements, and the opportunity to work within a physician-led, highly collaborative care model.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced inpatient setting during overnight hours.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality inpatient medical care for adult patients during overnight shifts
  • Manage admissions, cross-cover patients, and transitions of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
  • Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation, orders, and workflow management
  • Supervise and support residents and advanced practice providers as applicable
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed
  • Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and documentation standards


Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Eligible for California medical licensure
  • Excellent clinical decision-making and communication skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced hospital setting, particularly during overnight hours
  • ACLS/BLS certification required
  • Prior inpatient/hospitalist experience preferred
