This position is PRN – they can pick up shifts whenever they can or choose whatever is open at the facility! (Both Days and Nights will be available throughout the assignment)
Start Date: ASAP
End date: Ongoing
Schedule: Swing 5:00 PM–1:00 AM (may extend to 5:00 AM based on volume); Nocturnist 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; Days 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Orientation: 1 orientation/shadow day + 1 additional shadow day
Experience: Experienced providers preferred
Fellowship/Certifications: No specific requirements
Emergency Privileges: No
Case Logs: Required; exact requirements TBD
Hospital Size: 300+ beds
Daily Census: 140–160
Daily Admissions: Approximately 25–30 per 24 hours
Rounding Volume: 18–22 patients per day
Consults: Yes; included within overall volume
Patient Population: Diverse
Hospital Type/Acuity: Acute care hospital
ICU: Open ICU; hospitalists will round in ICU
Procedures: None required
Vent Management: Not required
Support Staff: Multiple specialty services; one of the largest hospitals in the area
Follow-Ups: Managed as inpatients
Grand Rounds: No
