We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician for a permanent, full-time position in Cuero, Texas. This is an employed inpatient hospitalist opportunity within an established acute care inpatient program. Please see below for more information.
- EMR: Meditech Expanse
Job Responsibilities
Independently manage inpatient admissions, daily rounding, and ongoing patient care
Manage an average daily census of approximately 4 patients
Average approximately 2.5 admissions per day
Approximately 3,000 annual hospitalist encounters, or approximately 8 patient visits per day
Practice within an open ICU model
No procedures required
Participate in patient satisfaction score reporting and associated quality accountability
Qualifications
Active Texas medical license
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
Working Hours
Daytime rounding with on-call availability until the following morning
