Overview
A hospital in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking a Board-Certified Hospital Medicine Physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This opportunity offers flexible block scheduling, a closed ICU model, and no call or procedural requirements. (Job ID: 51679)
Details
- Setting: Inpatient Hospital Medicine
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts
- Coverage: Preferably 2 weeks per month
- 7-on/7-off scheduling may be considered
- Must be flexible to cover days, nights, and weekends
- No call
- Closed ICU with dedicated intensivist coverage
- No procedures required
- Temporary/emergency privileges may be available for providers with a clean file
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine
- Active Alaska medical license required
- Must be able to work 7 consecutive shifts
- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
- Clean credentialing file preferred for temporary/emergency privileges
