Job description
We are seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens position in Hendersonville, TN. This is a nocturnist-only opportunity at an acute care hospital. Please see below for more information.
Job Responsibilities
Manage an average daily census of approximately 90 patients
Complete an average of 12-15 admissions between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM, with swing shift APP support available until approximately 1:00 AM
Respond to all overhead codes
Provide overnight coverage for the CCU under a hybrid model, consulting on CCU patients who may transition to the hospitalist service on the floor
Respond to CCU needs after the CCU APP departs at approximately midnight; intensivist is available by phone for additional support
Work independently overnight with APP and on-call intensivist support
No procedures required
Qualifications
Active DEA registration required at time of submittal
Working Hours
7 on / 7 off preferred
Will also consider coverage in blocks of several consecutive nights covered by multiple physicians
No call required
