Job description
We are seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens position in Fresno, California. This is a pre-planned surgical hospital opportunity with no emergency department and no emergent cases, offering both day and night coverage. Please see below for more information.
- 48 med/surg beds
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Round on and manage post-surgical and medical inpatients
• Provide cross-coverage on the night service, including medicine calls on behavioral health hospital patients
• Serve as consulting physician in a 9-bed open ICU where the surgeon remains primary
• Collaborate closely with surgeons involved in patient care
• Supervise advanced practice providers
• Lead codes and rapid response events and respond with the rapid response team
Qualifications
• Active California medical license
• Epic EMR experience
• ACLS
Working Hours
Day shift 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Night shift 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
No call
