Job description
We are seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens position in Fresno, California. This is an acute care hospital opportunity with day, swing, and night coverage available at a Level I trauma and comprehensive burn center. Please see below for more information.
- 685 licensed beds
- Level I Trauma Center
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Provide cross-coverage on the night service
• Supervise advanced practice providers
• Respond to codes for patients on the hospitalist service
• Respond to all rapid response team activations in house
• Coordinate care with critical care and consulting specialty services
• Work alongside a 57-bed adult ICU and 30-bed neuro ICU
Qualifications
• Active California medical license
• Epic EMR experience
• ACLS
Working Hours
Day rounder and day admitter shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Swing shifts, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Night shifts, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, and 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
