Health is seeking an experienced Nocturnist Physician to join our growing Hospital Medicine team in beautiful Elkin, North Carolina. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice in a community-focused rural healthcare setting while enjoying a highly desirable block schedule and the support of a respected regional health system. Hugh Chatham has an active need for a full-time nocturnist physician and is eligible to sponsor qualified visa candidates.

Job Responsibilities
Admit and manage hospitalized adult patients
Respond to acute patient care needs, rapid responses, and medical emergencies
Collaborate closely with nursing staff, specialists, and day-shift providers
Coordinate transfers when higher levels of care are required
Ensure thorough and effective handoff communication to the daytime team
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina
ACLS certification required
Prior Hospital Medicine experience preferred
New graduates are not being considered for this opportunity
