Job description
We are seeking a Hospitalist (Internal Medicine) for a locum tenens position in Fresno, California. Please see below for more information.
- Facility: Community Behavioral Health Center (Sound Physicians)
- Day shift, 12 hours (7:00a - 7:00p), 3 shifts
- Scheduled, no call
- Hospitalist responsible for APP supervision; physician leads codes and rapid response
- Epic EMR
- Start date: September 21, 2026 (Go-Live September 1, 2026)
- Assignment length: 13 weeks
- Clean files only
Job Responsibilities
• Supervise advanced practice providers (APPs)
• Lead codes and rapid response events
• Manage day shift coverage (7:00a - 7:00p)
• Document care in Epic EMR
Qualifications
• Active California medical license required
• ACLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Clean file required (no malpractice history or unclean background)
