About the Position:
Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist to join a well-established inpatient team at Penn Highlands Mon Valley, located just 25 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. This opportunity offers a predictable 7-on/7-off schedule, strong APP support, competitive compensation, and the stability of a growing nine-hospital healthcare system.
Position Highlights
• Hospital-employed position within a financially stable health system
• 7-on / 7-off schedule
• Day shift only: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Join an established team of:
• 5 Hospitalists
• 2 Advanced Practice Providers
• Manage medical-surgical patients and Open ICU
• Telemedicine support responsibilities
• No procedures required
Clinical Responsibilities
• Inpatient medical management
• ICU patient management in an Open ICU environment
• Respond to:
• Rapid Response calls
• Stroke alerts
• Code Blue events
• Collaborate closely with APPs and nursing staff
• Provide telemedicine support to regional hospitals when needed
Compensation & Benefits
• Base salary: $300,000 – $320,000
• $25,000 sign-on bonus
• $10,000 relocation assistance
• Comprehensive benefits package
• CME package:
• $3,000 annual allowance
• 40 hours CME time
• Malpractice insurance with tail coverage

• Running codes
