About the Job
A leading healthcare organization in Mississippi is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join one of the region’s largest hospital-employed Hospitalist programs. Position Highlights
• Join a well-established Hospitalist program with extensive specialty support
• 7-on / 7-off scheduling model promoting work/life balance
• Team includes:
• 15 daytime Hospitalists
• 2 daytime admitting physicians
• 2 Nocturnists
• Advanced Practice Provider support
• Fully integrated EPIC EMR system
• Modern hospital facilities with advanced technology and clinical resources
• Collaborative physician culture focused on quality patient care
• Open to both experienced physicians and new graduates
Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive inpatient care for hospitalized adult patients
• Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, care managers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EPIC
• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered medical care

Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
