About the Position
A respected healthcare organization in Central New York is seeking a full-time Hospitalist to join an established inpatient medicine program. Position Highlights
• Hospital-employed Hospitalist position
• Multiple scheduling options available including:
• 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM
• Competitive annual compensation package of approximately $275,000
• Established Hospitalist team within a well-respected regional healthcare system

Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for hospitalized patients
• Perform admission evaluations, histories, and physical examinations
• Conduct daily patient rounds and coordinate ongoing treatment plans
• Manage acute medical issues and changes in patient condition throughout hospitalization
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and referring physicians to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide consultative support when attending physicians are unavailable
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Qualifications
• MD or DO degree required
• Current and unrestricted New York medical license required
• Active DEA and controlled substance registrations required
• Eligible for hospital credentialing and medical staff privileges
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills preferred
