Hospitalist Physician opening in NY Located in Syracuse, NY Full-Time, Permanent Practice Overview:
- Full-time Hospitalist Physician opportunity in Syracuse, New York
- Hospital-employed position with day and evening schedule options
- Shift options include 8:00 AM-6:00 PM, 6:00 PM-12:00 AM, and 6:00 PM-3:00 AM
- Provide inpatient medical care for hospitalized patients
- Conduct daily rounds on assigned hospitalist patients
- Complete history and physical exams within required timelines
- Manage medical changes or crises when the attending physician is unavailable
- Coordinate necessary follow-up care upon discharge
- Long-standing Central New York healthcare setting Compensation & Recruitment Package:
- Salary: $275,000/year Job Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Current and valid New York medical license
- Current, valid, and unrestricted federal and state controlled substance registrations
- Ability to obtain active medical staff membership and clinical privileges
