Job description
We are seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens nocturnist position in Burlington, NC. This is an overnight inpatient coverage opportunity at an acute care hospital with no call required. Please see below for more information.
- Trauma Level: II–IV
- EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Manage an average daily census of 15–18 patients
Handle an average of 8 admissions per 12-hour shift
Care for adult patient population
No central venous catheter placements required
No special procedures required beyond standard hospitalist scope
Qualifications
Active North Carolina state license
DEA
BLS
ACLS
Working Hours
7 on / 7 off schedule required
PRN fill-in shifts available
Coverage commitment: 5 shifts per month
No call
Start Date: 8/17/2026
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
