Looking for a nocturnist role where you can do more than cover the floor?
UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our hospitalist team in Morganton, North Carolina.
This opportunity is ideal for a hospitalist who enjoys higher-acuity medicine, ICU management, and procedures and wants to continue using those skills in practice. You'll alternate between ICU coverage and hospital medicine, work alongside a broad range of specialists, and have the opportunity to teach the next generation of physicians.
And with a 7-on/7-off nocturnist schedule, you'll have extended time away from work to enjoy life in beautiful Western North Carolina.

- ICU + floor rotation: manage the ICU for seven shifts and the medical floor for seven shifts

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a physician who thrives in an inpatient environment and values autonomy, collaboration, and excellent patient care.
Qualifications include:
- Internal Medicine residency training
- ABIM Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Ability to obtain appropriate procedural credentials
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
