What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient pediatric care in a 30-bed ward, managing an average daily census of 16-18 patients.
- Conduct newborn nursery examinations and participate in delivery room care.
- Offer pediatric consultations in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with subspecialists, intensivists, and a multidisciplinary team.
- Engage in teaching and mentoring pediatric residents and medical students.
- Participate in an academic environment affiliated with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a Level II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada and northeastern California.
What You Need
- Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatrics
- Valid medical license to practice in Nevada or eligible for licensure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in inpatient pediatric medicine is preferred but not required
